E44 – Drones, Planes, Cells, and a Zebra

Welcome to E44 of the NSA Show Podcast. Today Sam and I are joined by our good friend Vic Nunes (@nunesvic) to discuss DARPA using drones for WiFi hotspots in the field, TWC looks to join other cable companies doing hotspots in your house, more bandwidth in the skies, and Zebra buys Motorola’s Enterprise Wireless line.

Sorry guys, but when discussing Motorola-Zebra deal you’re as far off the mark as one could possibly be…
I do understand that this topic is not mainstream for you, but even simple Googling would have cleared a lot of things – there was a LOT of articles discussing the deal, including ones from Forbes, etc
Makes one wonder if other info/opinion heard on the show is accurate enough to be trusted.

P.S. I do work for Motorola as a training person, teaching wireless among many other things we do.
P.P.S. Don’t know why, but your RSS feed got stuck in Limbo (at least for me) and only this week I received a stream of updates starting from Nov last year! Hence the late comment.

Actually when the show was originally recorded and posted the deal was just announced so there wasn’t a lot out there. Opinions are just that, opinions.
