E19 – Cisco WLC 5760

On E18 we talked about the new Cisco Catalyst 3850 switch that includes a WLC, on this episode we are going one step further in the new Cisco Unified Access design and talking about the Cisco WLC 5760. The Cisco 5700 Series Wireless LAN Controller is designed for 802.11ac performance addressing the throughput demand of media-rich mobile applications. Ideal for mid-to-large campus networks, the 5700 Series can be deployed in converged access mode, as well as centralized mode to provide higher resiliency and advanced Cisco IOS-based services like QoS.
